Tuesday 22: The Business Quiz for Crucible

Hello guys, as TATA Crucible Corporate quiz has been announced for this year, I was thinking why not bring to you some of the business quiz questions, I faced during my days. I am a huge fan of Pickbrain and All the best to the guys who will be going for it.

Q.1. The X emblem as we know is began as the family crest of Antoine de la Mothe X, the founder of the city of Y, famously the centre of a plethore of companies from a particular industry.

The couronne, or Coronet, symbolizes the six ancient courts of France. The pearls, which have varied in number on both the family and automotive crests, signify that the family is descended from the royal counts of Toulouse. The shield denotes the courageous origins of a noble family, being taken from the shape of shields used by the crusaders. It is composed of four quarters. The first and fourth quarterings display the arms of the Mothe family. The birds, called "merlettes," are adaptations of the martin, but without legs or beaks.

In 2000, Advertising Age magazine named 'A X is Forever' the best advertising slogan of the 20th century. It was instrumental in esablishing X as a luxury. The advertisement was made for a company called De Beers, which for most part of the century had a complete monopoly in its sale.

Q.5. While I am a Manchester United Fan, but this next question has been one of my favourite.

Everton FC has two shops in the city which sell its Club memorabilia and merchandise. Perhaps cheeky, the shop is named Everton Two and is located in one of the busiest malls of the city. Why is it part of the banter in Merseyside Derby, the Toffee fans famously claiming it a victory over their neighbours, Liverpool.
