The above lines are from one of the translated works of Mao Zedong, a Chinese communist whose theories, military strategies, and political policies are collectively known as Maoism. The tower mentioned in above lines refers to a old architecture present in the city of X in China. The city X was called “China’s Chicago” by famous American magazine Harper’s in 1918. This referred to the fact that X was China’s second most important economic hub at the time, much as Chicago was to the US after New York. Identify X.

The architecture referred in the above lines is Yellow Crane Tower. It is a famous traditional Chinese tower whose current structure was built in 1981, but the tower has existed in various forms from as early as AD 223.



2. EaseMyTrip is an Indian online travel company founded in 2008 by Nishant Pitti, Rikant Pittie and Prashant Pitti. Headquartered in New Delhi. In 2016, one of the company's founder brother Nishant Pitti co-produced an Indian social thriller movie X under the direction of Y. Babubhai Mistry directed the unreleased film Ratan Pictures with same name "X" in 1990 starring Jeetendra, Jaya Pradha ,Danny Denzongpa and Raj Babbar. Interestingly, one of the co-producer of the movie is the wife of the main lead actor.

Nishikant Kamat directed the movie "Madaari" alongwith Drishyam, Force, Rocky Handsome and Madaari.
Unfortunately, Nishikant Kamat passed away on 17 August 2020 at age of 50 suffering from liver cirrhosis for the past two years and was being treated at a Hyderabad hospital..

3. Flinders Street train station in the city of Melbourne featured in the background of Steven Spielberg’s TV mini-series The Pacific. It is a widely believed urban myth that the design for the Flinders Street train station was originally intended to be a replacement for an iconic Indian landmark in city Y, while that of city Y was originally meant for the city X. In 1899, a competition was held for the design of the Flinders Street train station. First prize was awarded to James Fawcett and HPC Ashworth who won £500 for their French Renaissance ‘Green Light’ project. Id Y.

In 1938, Roy Plunkett, a scientist with DuPont, was working on ways to make refrigerators more home-friendly by searching for ways to replace the current refrigerant, which was primarily ammonia, sulfur dioxide, and propane.
