Wednesday 13: Cool set on Captain COOL

Hello, guys. Being a Ranchiite if something has hurt us most this year, it has to be retirement of the Captain Cool. So I thought to tribute him in our own quizzer's way
Do let us know, what you think of this set..

Q.1.
I’m a poet just for a moment or two. My story will only last for a moment or two.
My existence is only going to last for a moment or two.
My youth is only going to last for a moment or two.

This is a the english translation of beautiful classic song from the movie X, filmed on Amitabh Bachchan and sung by Mukesh. This song got a burst of recent viewings due to being used in a certain manner. Which movie does this song belong to.

d.) Kabhie Kabhie

The song was used by MS Dhoni in his Instagram video through which he announced his retirement.

Q.2. This is the logo of one of the brands launched by MS Dhoni. It currently has one of it's fitness stores in Ranchi too. Simple question, Identify the Brand?

c.) seven

Seven is a fitness brand with products aiming towards youth. Launched by MSD in collaboration with Rhiti Group.

Q.3. At the time of stepping down from captaincy, MS Dhoni was the most successful test captain of India with 27 wins in 60 test matches he captained, it was subsequently broken by Virat Kohli, but my question is who was the most successful test captain before MS Dhoni.

b.) Sourav Ganguly

It is widely said that Dhoni enjoyed the benefits of strong foundations given by Dada. While Ganguly himself captained the best batting line of India in the history and was part of the Fab Four of the Indian Team.

Q.4. Coming from real Dhoni to reel Dhoni, We all know, Dhoni's Biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story was released starring Shushant Singh Rajput as MS Dhoni himself. I would like to check how many of you know the director of the movie?

c.) Niraj Pandey

Interestingly he also wrote the film screenplay and should be credited for that epic ending of the movie.

Q.5. While many of my readers might be too young to remember, many great Indian Players were designated as Icon players and were never brought in the Auction of IPL. While some were special Marquee players in the Auctions. Mind you, it was 2008 and India had just won the 2007 T20 World Cup. Who happened to be the most expensive player signed from the 2008 IPL Auction.

b.) MS Dhoni

Yes, how could you think we would end the set not having MSD as the answer. While Gautam Gambhir was also an icon player but was snapped up by Delhi. Rohit was yet to become the force we know and actually played for the Hyderabad team. Yuvraj might have fetched even more but he was not even in the auction being an Iconic player for Punjab.

Thalla won that Auction too.

We all wish you a Happy retirement Captain!!!
